This is the beginning of a game I'm developing solo, with the goal of publishing it.
This is Soyuz Ivers, a military technician who was investigating thermal anomalies on the planet. For unknown reasons, the world began to be bombarded by immense waves of intense heat, instantly killing many and turning them into sand, while the rest died of despair trying to migrate to other parts of the planet.
This is not a fiction story with a happy ending. With each passing day, you lose more and more, always one step away from imminent death. The only way to survive is to avoid the sun as much as possible; it is your greatest enemy. Traversing colossal cities for a glimmer of hope, avoiding the sun at all costs—this is your burden now: to survive the extreme heat and prevent your hallucinations and mirages from killing you. There are no heroes here, no saviors of humanity.
This is a game not based on combat or stealth, but on psychological horror, making you believe your choices matter and that you will live to tell the tale.
